  It seems like this place got bad reviews in the past, but I live there right now, and I think it's great. The neighbors are very friendly, the manager is awesome, it's always very clean, and I always walk around the area by myself, even at night, and it feels very safe. The surrounding areas have also spruced up a bit, with brand new apartment complexes, which I'm sure has helped the area improve overall.
  
  One thing to be warned about: This places has a sense of community. Meaning that on weekday evenings and weekends, you might see a few neighbors outside quietly speaking to one another, resident families maybe in the pool with their kids, and people you walk by may say "hi" (insert gasp here). If you like a sense of community, then this won't bother you. But I know some people just don't like it. If you're anti-community or anti-humans or anti-everything, you should probably check the caves in the Santa Cruz mountains first.

  Incompetent management who are never there during the listed hours or enforce rules, Caitlin Lamprecnt needed both hands to find her ass, she lost our rent check. Lousy maintenance, noise at all hours of the day. Police several times. A prostitute does her business here.
  They gloss over the apartments so they look good until you move in and then everything begins to fall apart. It is like putting lipstick on a pig. Avoid at all costs.
